Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to employees regarding hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software applications, and peripheral devices.
- Respond to IT support tickets and inquiries in a timely manner, resolving issues efficiently to minimize downtime and disruption.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new user accounts, email accounts, and access permissions.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as system updates, patches, and backups, to ensure the security and reliability of IT systems.
- Collaborate with IT vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues and implement solutions as needed.
- Document IT processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for future reference and training purposes.
- Assist in the implementation of IT projects and initiatives, such as system upgrades, migrations, and enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience in IT support roles, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networks, and operating systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with ITIL best practices and service management principles.
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users.
- Strong customer service orientation and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are desirable but not required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
