Job Overview:
ION Group is seeking a skilled and versatile IT Technician to join our team in Luxembourg. As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting IT infrastructure and systems. This role requires a strong understanding of hardware, software, and networking, as well as excellent problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and collaboratively, providing technical support to internal teams and clients.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment, including computers, servers, printers, and networking devices.
- Assist with software installations, updates, and configurations to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor IT systems for potential issues and take proactive measures to prevent downtime.
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure smooth operations and system reliability.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, configurations, and support activities.
- Provide training and guidance to end-users on IT-related topics and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with IT security protocols and company policies.
- Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades and migrations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Previous experience as an IT Technician, Technical Support Specialist, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and networking technologies.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting IT issues and providing effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends or after-hours as needed.
- Fluency in French or German is required; additional languages such as English or Luxembourgish are a plus.
