Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and Configuration: Deploying and configuring network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points, according to client requirements and industry best practices.
- Network Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitoring network performance, identifying and resolving issues proactively to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
- Troubleshooting: Investigating and resolving network-related problems, including connectivity issues, bandwidth bottlenecks, and security breaches, in a timely manner.
- Security Management: Implementing and maintaining network security measures, such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems, to safeguard against cyber threats and unauthorized access.
- Documentation: Maintaining accurate documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to facilitate efficient operations and knowledge transfer.
- Client Support: Providing technical support to clients, addressing their inquiries, and assisting them in resolving network-related issues through effective communication and collaboration.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, system administrators, and project managers, to deliver integrated solutions that meet client requirements and exceed expectations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
- Certified in networking technologies such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in network administration or a related role.
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting networking equipment and protocols, including TCP/IP, VLANs, and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Knowledge of network security principles and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
