Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and Repair: Assist in the maintenance and repair of public infrastructure, including roads, parks, and recreational facilities. Tasks include basic carpentry, painting, and minor repairs.
- Groundskeeping: Perform groundskeeping duties such as mowing lawns, trimming hedges, planting flowers, and maintaining public gardens and green spaces.
- Waste Management: Assist with waste collection and disposal, including emptying public bins and ensuring proper recycling practices are followed.
- Public Space Cleaning: Clean and maintain public spaces, including streets, sidewalks, parks, and public buildings. Tasks include litter picking, sweeping, and power washing.
- Event Support: Provide support for public events organized by Wyre Council, including setting up and dismantling equipment, managing crowds, and ensuring the event site is clean and safe.
- Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain various tools and equipment used in public works, such as lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, and power tools.
- Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines. Ensure that all work is carried out safely and responsibly, using appropriate protective equipment.
- Reporting: Report any issues, damages, or necessary repairs to the relevant supervisor or department for prompt action.

Qualifications:
