Key Responsibilities:
- Pack chocolates and confections according to established guidelines and standards, ensuring accuracy and consistency in packaging.
- Handle and inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and are free from defects or damage.
- Operate packaging equipment, such as wrapping machines and labeling machines, safely and efficiently.
- Label packaged products with accurate information, including ingredients, expiration dates, and allergen warnings.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including packaging stations and storage areas, to ensure hygiene and safety.
- Assist in inventory management tasks, such as counting stock, recording inventory levels, and replenishing packaging supplies.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations, including proper handling and storage of ingredients and finished products.
- Collaborate with other team members to fulfill customer orders and meet production targets.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and quality assurance standards.
- Handle ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned by the supervisor or management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in food packaging or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive tasks with efficiency and accuracy.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
