As a Landscape Gardener at Hervé the Gardener, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining a variety of outdoor spaces. Your work will involve everything from planting trees and shrubs to constructing garden features and installing irrigation systems. This position requires a combination of horticultural knowledge, practical skills, and a passion for creating beautiful landscapes.

- Experience: 1-2 Basic Requirements
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and planning landscape projects in consultation with clients and the landscape design team
- Planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and other vegetation according to design specifications
- Building and installing garden features such as pathways, patios, fences, and water features
- Operating landscaping machinery and tools, including lawn mowers, trimmers, and chainsaws
- Maintaining gardens and lawns through regular pruning, mowing, weeding, and fertilizing
- Installing and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants
- Identifying and addressing plant diseases and pests, using environmentally friendly methods where possible
- Ensuring safety standards are met on all job sites and maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Providing excellent customer service by answering questions, offering advice, and addressing client concerns
- Collaborating with team members to complete projects on time and to the highest standards
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in landscaping or gardening roles
- Knowledge of horticulture, plant care, and landscape design principles
- Ability to operate landscaping machinery and tools safely
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to job sites within Luxembourg
- Fluency in English; knowledge of French, German, or Luxembourgish is a plus
