Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day logistics operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods and services. Key Responsibilities:

  • Shipment Coordination: Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in stock control. Conduct regular inventory audits and report discrepancies.
  • Vendor Management: Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and other service providers to negotiate rates and ensure the best possible service. Maintain strong relationships with all logistics partners.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate shipping and receiving records, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs documentation. Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations and company policies. Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to shipments and deliveries. Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings. Prepare reports and present findings to management.
  • Operational Efficiency: Continuously seek ways to improve logistics processes and increase operational efficiency. Implement new technologies and best practices as needed.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably within the UAE.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles.
  • Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of customs regulations and international shipping procedures is a plus.
