Position Overview:
SERVIOR’s Human Resources Division is seeking skilled and compassionate Qualified Nurses to join our healthcare team in Luxembourg. The ideal candidates will have a strong nursing background and a passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly. As a Qualified Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing residents’ health needs, administering treatments, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care. Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, managing wounds, and monitoring vital signs. Ensure that all care is provided in accordance with medical best practices and SERVIOR’s high standards.
- Health Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments of residents’ health conditions, identifying any changes or concerns. Develop and update care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, caregivers, and therapists, to ensure coordinated care. Participate in team meetings and contribute to care planning.
- Family Communication: Communicate with residents’ families to update them on health status, treatment plans, and any changes in care. Address any questions or concerns they may have.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting all treatments, assessments, and resident interactions. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and SERVIOR’s internal policies.
- Training and Education: Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay current with medical advancements and best practices. Educate caregivers and other staff members on proper care techniques and safety protocols.
- Quality Improvement: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within SERVIOR. Identify areas for improvement in patient care and propose solutions.
- Emergency Response: Act swiftly and appropriately in emergency situations, following established protocols and ensuring the safety of residents and staff.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) qualification or equivalent, with a valid nursing license in Luxembourg.
- A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in geriatric care or long-term care.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in French, German, or Luxembourgish is a plus.
