Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately selecting products from our inventory to fulfill customer orders. This role is crucial to maintaining our high standards of service and ensuring that our customers receive their products in a timely and accurate manner.   • Experience: 1-2 Basic Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick products from inventory based on customer orders, ensuring the correct items and quantities are selected.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in organizing and maintaining warehouse inventory, ensuring items are stored properly and in easily accessible locations.
  • Quality Control: Inspect products for damages or discrepancies and report any issues to the supervisor.
  • Packing: Prepare orders for shipment by packing items securely and labeling them accurately.
  • Shipping Coordination: Coordinate with the shipping team to ensure timely dispatch of orders.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks as required.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety regulations and best practices to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of orders picked and inventory levels.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to achieve daily operational goals and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and suggest improvements to warehouse processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or order-picking environment is preferred but not required.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
  • Technical Proficiency: Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems are an asset.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, and walking for extended periods.
  • Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
