Job Description:
As a Delivery Assistant at Adecco Luxembourg, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery and distribution of goods to our clients’ customers. Working as part of a delivery team, you will assist with loading and unloading vehicles, transporting goods to designated locations, and ensuring that deliveries are completed accurately and efficiently.

Your responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles, ensuring that goods are properly secured and organized
- Helping drivers navigate routes and locations, providing assistance with directions and logistics as needed
- Transporting goods to customer locations using company vehicles or delivery equipment
- Verifying the accuracy of delivery orders and ensuring that the correct items are delivered to the right recipients
- Collecting signatures or proof of delivery from customers and providing excellent customer service
- Communicating any delivery issues or concerns to supervisors and assisting with problem resolution
- Maintaining delivery vehicles and equipment in clean and working condition, reporting any maintenance issues or malfunctions
- Following safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment
- Adhering to company policies, procedures, and quality standards to meet or exceed customer expectations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a delivery or logistics role preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed
- Familiarity with local roads and geography is a plus
- Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
