As a Steelworker, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing steel structures and components for various projects. Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, assemble, and install steel structures and components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Operate machinery and tools such as welders, grinders, and cutting torches to shape and prepare steel materials.
- Ensure all steel components are assembled and installed accurately and safely.
- Follow safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other steelworkers, engineers, and supervisors to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure all work meets industry standards and project requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of fabrication and installation activities.
- Participate in training and development programs to stay updated on industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a steelworker, welder, or a related role in steel fabrication or construction.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of steel fabrication processes.
- Proficiency in operating welding equipment, grinders, cutting torches, and other machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings and weekends, if required.
- Physical fitness to handle the demands of steel fabrication, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Fluency in French or German is required; additional languages such as English or Luxembourgish are a plus.
