We are seeking dedicated and reliable Airport Cleaners to join our team at various airport locations across Ireland. This entry-level role is essential to maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of airport facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for passengers and staff. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in all areas of the airport, including terminals, restrooms, lounges, and offices.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring they are well-stocked with supplies.
- Empty trash bins and manage waste disposal in accordance with airport regulations.
- Clean and polish floors, windows, and other surfaces to maintain a high standard of appearance.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines and company policies.
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.
- Assist with emergency clean-ups and other duties as required by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- No previous cleaning experience required; full training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical condition, capable of performing manual labor tasks and standing for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of English to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role or environment is a plus but not essential.
- Knowledge of safe handling and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
