Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Assistant Coordinateur to join our dedicated team at the Centre des Monuments du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg asbl. The ideal candidate will support the coordination of various projects, events, and activities related to the preservation and promotion of Luxembourg’s monuments. Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Coordination: Assist in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of projects related to the restoration and promotion of historical monuments.
  • Event Management: Support the organization and execution of cultural events, exhibitions, and educational programs aimed at promoting Luxembourg’s heritage.
  • Administrative Support: Perform administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, maintaining records, and managing correspondence.
  • Communication: Liaise with stakeholders, including government bodies, cultural organizations, and the public, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Research: Conduct research on historical sites, monuments, and cultural practices to support project development and public outreach initiatives.
  • Documentation: Assist in the documentation of restoration processes, project progress, and event outcomes, ensuring all records are accurately maintained.
  • Public Relations: Help manage social media accounts, update the organization’s website, and contribute to the creation of promotional materials.
Qualifications:
  • A degree in history, art history, cultural heritage management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in project coordination, event management, or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French; knowledge of Luxembourgish or German is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management software.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
