Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and positive attitude. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring their satisfaction.
- Food Preparation: Prepare and assemble food orders according to Chipotle’s recipes and quality standards. Follow food safety procedures to ensure the freshness and safety of all ingredients.
- Cash Handling: Process customer payments accurately and efficiently using cash registers or electronic payment systems. Maintain a clean and organized cash register area.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant. Communicate effectively to coordinate tasks and provide support as needed.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the restaurant, including dining areas, kitchen, and restrooms. Follow cleaning procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
- Food Safety: Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines. Monitor food temperatures and storage to prevent contamination and ensure food quality.
- Upselling and Promotion: Promote special offers, new menu items, and additional toppings to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Training and Development: Participate in training programs and development initiatives to enhance skills and knowledge. Stay informed about Chipotle’s menu offerings and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in the food service industry or customer service role is preferred but not essential. Training will be provided.
- Skills: Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for cash handling.
- Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to adapt to changing schedules and customer demands.
