Job Description:
As an Environmental Coordinator at Lux-Airport, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing environmental programs and initiatives to minimize the airport’s impact on the environment. Working closely with internal stakeholders and regulatory agencies, you will ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards while promoting sustainability and responsible resource management.

- Experience: 1-2 Basic Requirements
Your responsibilities may include:
- Developing and maintaining environmental management systems and policies to ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations and standards
- Conducting environmental audits, assessments, and inspections to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement
- Collecting, analyzing, and reporting environmental data and metrics to track performance and progress towards environmental goals and objectives
- Collaborating with airport departments and tenants to promote environmental awareness and best practices
- Providing guidance and support to staff members and contractors on environmental issues and procedures
- Identifying and implementing initiatives to reduce energy consumption, waste generation, and greenhouse gas emissions
- Managing environmental permits, licenses, and certifications, and ensuring timely renewal and compliance
- Participating in environmental impact assessments and planning processes for airport expansion and development projects
- Representing Lux-Airport in meetings, conferences, and working groups related to environmental matters
- Keeping abreast of emerging environmental trends, technologies, and regulations, and recommending appropriate actions and strategies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field
- Previous experience in environmental management or sustainability preferred
- Knowledge of environmental regulations, standards, and best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and interpret data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Project management experience, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other software tools
- Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
