Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing lists and purchase orders.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch according to company procedures.
- Maintain organized and efficient storage of products in designated areas.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in inventory management tasks.
- Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational targets.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies to ensure a secure working environment.
- Assist in loading and unloading delivery trucks as needed.
- Keep accurate records of stock movements and report any discrepancies to supervisors.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Worker or in a similar role.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts (certification preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.
- Good physical condition and ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management and record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in a warehouse setting.
- Proficiency in English; additional language skills, particularly French or German, are an asset.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in logistics or distribution.
- Familiarity with warehouse management software and systems.
