Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Estimation Engineer will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for insulation and waterproofing projects, ensuring that bids are competitive and meet the client’s requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimation, excellent analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of insulation and waterproofing techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for insulation and waterproofing projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs.
- Project Evaluation: Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to determine the scope of work and identify key project requirements.
- Vendor Coordination: Obtain and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
- Bid Preparation: Compile and submit comprehensive bid proposals, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all required information.
- Budgeting: Develop and maintain project budgets, tracking costs and expenditures to ensure alignment with estimates.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and uncertainties in project estimates and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure estimates align with project goals and client expectations.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all estimates, bid proposals, and correspondence for future reference and audit purposes.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, advancements in insulation and waterproofing technologies, and best practices in cost estimation.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cost estimation within the construction industry, preferably with a focus on insulation and waterproofing projects.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficient in estimation software and tools.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
