Job Description:
As a Commercial Architect at Adecco Luxembourg, you will play a pivotal role in designing and overseeing the construction of commercial buildings and structures, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities may include:
- Collaborating with clients to understand their business objectives, requirements, and preferences for commercial projects
- Developing architectural designs, plans, and specifications for commercial buildings, retail spaces, office complexes, and other commercial structures
- Using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other tools to create detailed drawings, renderings, and models of architectural designs
- Presenting design concepts and proposals to clients and obtaining feedback and approvals
- Preparing and overseeing the preparation of construction documents, including blueprints, schedules, and cost estimates
- Managing the bidding process and selecting contractors and subcontractors for commercial construction projects
- Overseeing the construction process to ensure that work is completed according to design specifications, building codes, and industry standards
- Conducting site visits and inspections to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure quality control
- Communicating and coordinating with project team members, including engineers, contractors, and suppliers, to ensure project success
- Providing technical expertise and guidance to project team members and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture from an accredited university
- Professional licensure as an architect is required
- Previous experience in commercial architecture, including design and construction oversight
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other architectural tools
- Strong design sensibility and creativity, with the ability to develop innovative and functional architectural solutions
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members
- Knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards related to commercial construction
- Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
