Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including staff management, inventory control, and customer service.
- Lead, train, and motivate the restaurant team to deliver exceptional service and achieve performance targets.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and guest experience.
- Oversee menu planning, food preparation, and presentation to maintain high culinary standards.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
- Collaborate with the hotel management team to coordinate events and promotions that drive restaurant traffic.
- Maintain a strong presence on the restaurant floor, engaging with guests and staff to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, including food and beverage management, service standards, and health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in French and/or German is highly desirable.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in a high-end or boutique hotel restaurant setting.
- Familiarity with modern POS systems and restaurant management software.
