Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including staff management, inventory control, and customer service.
  • Lead, train, and motivate the restaurant team to deliver exceptional service and achieve performance targets.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and guest experience.
  • Oversee menu planning, food preparation, and presentation to maintain high culinary standards.
  • Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the hotel management team to coordinate events and promotions that drive restaurant traffic.
  • Maintain a strong presence on the restaurant floor, engaging with guests and staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, including food and beverage management, service standards, and health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in French and/or German is highly desirable.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in a high-end or boutique hotel restaurant setting.
  • Familiarity with modern POS systems and restaurant management software.
  • Strong background in culinary arts or wine expertise.
