Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and Sanitizing: Clean and sanitize production equipment, machinery, and work areas according to established procedures and guidelines.
- Chemical Handling: Handle cleaning chemicals and detergents safely and responsibly, following proper procedures for dilution, application, and disposal.
- Pressure Washing: Operate pressure washing equipment to remove debris, grease, and other contaminants from surfaces and equipment.
- Floor Scrubbing: Scrub and sweep floors to remove dirt, dust, and debris, and ensure that floor surfaces are clean and free of hazards.
- Waste Management: Dispose of waste and debris in designated containers, and ensure that waste handling procedures are followed in compliance with environmental regulations.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on cleaning equipment and machinery, and report any malfunctions or issues to supervisory personnel.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment and safe work practices.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members and departments to ensure that cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in cleaning operations, and contribute ideas for enhancing sanitation standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience in industrial cleaning, janitorial work, or a related field is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning and sanitizing tasks.
- Communication Skills: Basic verbal and written communication skills in English.
