Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients according to recipes and specifications.
- Cook and assemble dishes accurately and efficiently, following standard recipes and portion sizes to ensure consistency and quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and work surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling, storage, and temperature control of food items.
- Assist with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels, rotating perishable items, and notifying management of low stock or supply shortages.
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations during peak hours and busy periods.
- Follow instructions from kitchen supervisors and chefs, communicating any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by kitchen management to support overall restaurant operations.
Qualifications:
