Key Responsibilities:
- Client Consultation: Conducting thorough consultations with clients to assess their skincare needs, discuss treatment options, and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their goals and preferences.
- Laser Treatments: Performing laser procedures, such as hair removal, laser skin tightening, pigment correction, and scar reduction, using advanced laser equipment and techniques to achieve optimal results.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhering to strict safety protocols and following established guidelines for laser procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of clients and staff.
- Treatment Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of client consultations, treatment protocols, and post-treatment care instructions in compliance with clinic policies and regulatory requirements.
- Client Education: Providing comprehensive education and guidance to clients on skincare practices, post-treatment care, and recommended skincare products to enhance treatment outcomes and promote long-term skin health.
- Equipment Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance and calibration of laser equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety, and promptly reporting any equipment issues or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
- Professional Development: Staying up-to-date on the latest advancements in laser technology, skincare techniques, and industry trends through ongoing training and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or certification in laser technology, medical aesthetics, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a laser technician, preferably in a medical aesthetics clinic or dermatology practice.
- Proficiency in performing a variety of laser treatments, including hair removal, skin rejuvenation, and laser resurfacing, using different types of laser systems.
- Strong understanding of skin anatomy, skincare principles, and common dermatological conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide compassionate care and build rapport with clients.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering safe, effective, and high-quality treatments.
- Valid licensure or certification as required by local regulations for performing laser procedures.
