Position Overview:
We are looking for a meticulous and energetic Warehouse Picker to join our dynamic team. The Warehouse Picker plays a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. Key Responsibilities:
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick and pack items from warehouse shelves according to order slips. Ensure that the correct quantity and type of product are selected.
- Inventory Management: Assist in the organization and upkeep of inventory. Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damages or defects before packing. Ensure that all items meet quality standards and are packed securely for shipping.
- Efficiency: Work quickly and efficiently to meet daily order quotas. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to optimize productivity.
- Documentation: Record and track all outgoing shipments. Update inventory systems to reflect order processing and shipment status.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Report any hazards or incidents immediately to the Warehouse Manager.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations. Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not required. On-the-job training will be provided.
- Skills: Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs). Stamina to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Personal Attributes: Attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
