International Medical Company is seeking a strategic and experienced Merchandising Manager to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing merchandising strategies that enhance product visibility and drive sales. Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies that align with the company’s sales and marketing goals.
  • Product Presentation: Ensure optimal product presentation and visibility across all sales channels, including retail stores and online platforms.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability and minimize stockouts or overstock situations.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to understand customer preferences, trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Vendor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to secure the best products and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Promotions: Plan and execute promotional activities and campaigns to boost product sales and increase customer engagement.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate the merchandising team to achieve performance targets and maintain high standards of customer service.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on merchandising performance, sales data, and market trends to senior management.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends. Proficiency in merchandising software and tools.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and build relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
  • Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility: Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment.
