Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies that align with the company’s sales and marketing goals.
- Product Presentation: Ensure optimal product presentation and visibility across all sales channels, including retail stores and online platforms.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability and minimize stockouts or overstock situations.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to understand customer preferences, trends, and competitive landscape.
- Vendor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to secure the best products and negotiate favorable terms.
- Promotions: Plan and execute promotional activities and campaigns to boost product sales and increase customer engagement.
- Team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate the merchandising team to achieve performance targets and maintain high standards of customer service.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on merchandising performance, sales data, and market trends to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends. Proficiency in merchandising software and tools.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and build relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
