Key Responsibilities:
- Metal Fabrication: Cut, shape, and weld metal components according to technical drawings and specifications.
- Assembly: Assemble metal parts and components to construct frameworks or structures, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design specifications.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications, making adjustments as necessary to correct any defects or discrepancies.
- Equipment Operation: Operate hand and power tools, as well as specialized machinery, to fabricate and assemble metal components safely and efficiently.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other members of the assembly team, as well as engineers, designers, and project managers, to achieve project objectives and deadlines.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used, production rates, and quality control measures.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in metal fabrication, carpentry, or a related field is preferred but not required. On-the-job training will be provided.
