Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise storekeeping operations, ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, and issuance of materials.
  • Maintain detailed records of inventory transactions and update inventory management systems.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Oversee the organization and cleanliness of the storage areas to facilitate easy access and inventory control.
  • Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and other departments to ensure timely availability of materials.
  • Monitor stock levels and initiate purchase requisitions to replenish inventory as needed.
  • Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures to minimize loss and optimize storage space.
  • Train and mentor junior storekeeping staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all storekeeping activities.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on inventory status, stock movements, and other relevant metrics to management.
  • Proven experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar role, preferably in a senior or supervisory position.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in storekeeping.
  • Valid UAE driver’s license is preferred.
  • Relevant certification in inventory management or supply chain management is a plus.
