Key Responsibilities:
- Solar Panel Installation: Installing solar panels and mounting systems on rooftops and other structures, ensuring proper alignment and orientation to maximize energy production.
- Electrical Wiring: Connecting solar panels to inverters, batteries, and electrical systems, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- System Testing and Commissioning: Conducting performance tests and commissioning procedures to verify the functionality and efficiency of solar energy systems, troubleshooting any issues as needed.
- Maintenance and Repair: Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning solar panels and inspecting electrical components, to ensure optimal performance and longevity of solar systems.
- Monitoring and Diagnostics: Monitoring system performance using remote monitoring tools and diagnostic software, identifying and addressing any issues or inefficiencies to maximize energy output.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of installation activities, maintenance procedures, and performance metrics, and preparing reports for clients and stakeholders as required.
- Client Support: Providing technical support and assistance to clients regarding solar energy systems, addressing their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or certification in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in solar panel installation and maintenance, preferably in a construction or renewable energy company.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and wiring principles, with experience in connecting solar panels to inverters and electrical grids.
- Familiarity with solar energy technologies, including photovoltaic (PV) panels, inverters, and mounting systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact professionally with clients and stakeholders.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various project sites within the United Arab Emirates.
