Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to enhance their quality of life.
- Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate records of care provided.
- Assist with mobility and physical exercises to improve or maintain clients’ physical health.
- Ensure a safe and clean living environment for clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients’ families and healthcare professionals.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay informed about best practices in dementia care.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
