Position Summary:
Tailormade JLT is seeking a talented and experienced Woman Tailor to join our team in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality, custom-made women’s garments, ensuring that each piece meets our rigorous standards of craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. This role requires exceptional sewing skills, attention to detail, and a passion for fashion and design.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create custom-made women’s clothing, including dresses, suits, bridal wear, and casual attire, based on client specifications and measurements.
- Conduct fittings with clients to ensure an accurate fit and make necessary alterations.
- Select appropriate fabrics, patterns, and designs to meet clients’ preferences and style.
- Cut, sew, and assemble garments with precision, ensuring a high-quality finish.
- Collaborate with the design team to develop new patterns and styles.
- Maintain detailed records of client measurements, preferences, and alterations.
- Provide exceptional customer service, offering expert advice on fabric selection, garment care, and styling.
- Ensure all garments are completed within the specified timeframe and meet Tailormade JLT’s standards of excellence.
- Stay updated on the latest fashion trends and tailoring techniques to provide innovative solutions to clients.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; formal training in tailoring, fashion design, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a tailor, with a focus on women’s clothing.
- Strong sewing and garment construction skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship.
- Ability to read and interpret design sketches and patterns.
- Strong understanding of different fabric types and their properties.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Creativity and a keen eye for fashion and design.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to handle repetitive tasks and work with delicate fabrics.
