Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. As a Caregiver at Regency Home Healthcare Center LLC, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to clients in their homes. Your role will involve assisting with daily living activities, ensuring the safety and comfort of clients, and promoting their overall health and well-being. Key Responsibilities:
- Personal Care: Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Mobility Assistance: Help clients with mobility, including transfers, walking, and use of mobility aids.
- Medication Management: Assist with medication administration and ensure clients take their medications as prescribed.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to clients’ dietary needs and preferences.
- Household Tasks: Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe and tidy environment.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities that promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Health Monitoring: Monitor clients’ health status, including checking vital signs, and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Care Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of care provided and clients’ health status.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe environment for clients and yourself.
- Family Communication: Communicate effectively with clients’ families, providing updates and addressing any concerns.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; certification in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Skills: Basic knowledge of caregiving techniques and best practices; proficiency in basic healthcare tasks.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus.
- Compassion: Strong empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and assisting clients with mobility.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team and independently when required.
- CPR/First Aid Certification: Certification in CPR and First Aid is an advantage.
