Position Summary:

Jazp.com is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Assistant to join our team in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing our inventory, ensuring accuracy in stock levels, and supporting the overall supply chain operations. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by conducting regular physical counts and reconciling discrepancies.
  • Update inventory management systems with incoming and outgoing stock data.
  • Monitor stock levels and report any shortages, overages, or other inventory issues to the Inventory Manager.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely and accurate ordering of products.
  • Help with the organization and maintenance of the warehouse, ensuring products are stored safely and efficiently.Prepare inventory reports and participate in periodic inventory audits.
  • Support the receiving and inspection of incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Assist in the implementation of inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to address inventory-related inquiries and issues.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize inventory processes and reduce waste.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in inventory management, logistics, or a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in inventory management, warehousing, or a similar role.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of supply chain and logistics principles.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that may require lifting and moving of products.
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
