Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer their queries regarding products, and provide recommendations as needed.
- Sales Transactions: Efficiently process sales transactions using our POS system, handle cash, credit card payments, and issue receipts.
- Stock Management: Assist in restocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring that all products are accurately priced and presented.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, report low stock items to the management, and assist in regular inventory counts.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the checkout area clean and organized, ensuring that the store’s appearance is neat and inviting.
- Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, including age verification for the sale of tobacco and alcohol products, and comply with Luxembourg’s legal requirements.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure a smooth operation and a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
- Basic math skills and proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle transactions accurately.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A responsible and professional attitude, with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French, German, or Luxembourgish is a plus.
