Job Description:
As a Cleaner at APEMH, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. This position requires attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. You will work in various locations, including residential facilities, offices, and common areas, ensuring that all spaces are kept tidy and sanitary.

Key responsibilities include:
- Cleaning and sanitizing offices, common areas, and restrooms
- Dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors
- Emptying trash bins and disposing of waste properly
- Cleaning windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
- Replenishing supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels
- Assisting with special cleaning projects, such as deep cleaning or event preparation
- Following cleaning schedules and checklists to ensure consistency
- Reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Supporting the overall mission of APEMH by contributing to a positive and inclusive environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in cleaning or janitorial work is desirable
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks
- Ability to work independently and follow cleaning schedules
- Reliability and punctuality
- Good communication skills
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Fluency in English; knowledge of French, German, or Luxembourgish is beneficial
