Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled English Language Teacher to join our team at Lingua Learn in the UAE. The English Language Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality English instruction to students, fostering an environment conducive to learning, and inspiring a love for the English language. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching English, a creative approach to lesson planning, and the ability to motivate and engage students.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lesson Planning: Develop and implement effective lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and accommodate the diverse needs and learning styles of students.
- Instruction: Provide engaging and interactive English language lessons, utilizing a variety of teaching methods to enhance student learning and participation.
- Assessment: Design and administer assessments to monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching strategies to meet student needs.
- Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student interaction, respect, and collaboration.
- Resource Development: Create and incorporate instructional materials, resources, and technology to support and enrich the learning experience.
- Student Support: Offer additional support through one-on-one tutoring, mentoring, and guidance to help students achieve their language learning goals.
- Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress, achievements, and any concerns.
- Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in English language teaching.
- Extracurricular Activities: Participate in and contribute to extracurricular activities, events, and school committees to support the overall mission of Lingua Learn.
- Administrative Duties: Complete administrative tasks such as grading, maintaining accurate records of student performance and attendance, and preparing progress reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Teaching certification or qualification, such as TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA.
- Proven experience teaching English as a second language, preferably in an international or multicultural setting.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to create and deliver effective lessons.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and digital resources to enhance the learning experience.
- Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional and collaborative attitude.
- Fluency in additional languages, such as Arabic, is an advantage but not required.
- UAE residency or valid work permit required.
