We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Chemistry Teacher to join our academic team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Instruction: Plan and deliver comprehensive chemistry lessons that align with the curriculum and meet educational standards.
  • Student Engagement: Foster a stimulating and interactive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
  • Assessment: Develop and administer assessments, including quizzes, tests, and lab activities, to evaluate student understanding and progress.
  • Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and refinement of the chemistry curriculum, incorporating current scientific advancements and best practices in education.
  • Laboratory Supervision: Supervise and guide students in laboratory experiments, ensuring safety protocols are followed and learning objectives are met.
  • Mentorship: Provide academic support and mentorship to students, assisting with coursework, projects, and preparation for examinations.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with advancements in chemistry and education, participating in professional development opportunities and continuing education.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues, sharing resources and strategies to enhance the overall educational experience.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with students, parents, and administration regarding student performance and progress.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemistry Education, or a related field. A Master’s degree or teaching certification is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience in chemistry at the secondary or post-secondary level.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of chemistry concepts and teaching methodologies.
  • Proficient in using educational technology and resources.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Language: Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
