Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to hotel standards. This includes dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Linen and Supplies Management: Change bed linens, replace towels, and restock guest supplies such as toiletries, coffee, and tea. Ensure all items are presented neatly and replenished promptly.
- Inspection and Reporting: Inspect rooms for cleanliness and damage, reporting any maintenance issues or missing items to the supervisor promptly.
- Guest Interaction: Respond to guest requests promptly and courteously, ensuring their needs are met with discretion and professionalism.
- Adherence to Protocols: Follow all hotel policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and protocols related to health and hygiene.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other housekeeping staff and hotel departments to ensure a seamless and efficient operation.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand or walk for extended periods. Must be able to lift, carry, and move items up to 25 pounds.
- Communication: Basic proficiency in English; knowledge of French, German, or Luxembourgish is an asset.
- Work Eligibility: Valid work authorization for Luxembourg.
