Role Overview:

We are seeking dedicated and meticulous Housekeeping Assistants to join our esteemed team at Hand Picked Hotels. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness, comfort, and overall guest satisfaction within our hotels. Key Responsibilities:
  • Room Cleaning: Clean and maintain guest rooms, suites, and public areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. Perform tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, polishing, and making beds.
  • Bathroom Cleaning: Ensure bathrooms are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, including scrubbing sinks, toilets, showers, and bath fixtures. Restock amenities and toiletries as needed.
  • Linen Management: Strip and make beds with fresh linens. Collect and transport dirty linens to the laundry room for cleaning. Fold and organize clean linens for use in guest rooms.
  • Restocking: Replenish towels, toiletries, and other amenities in guest rooms and public areas. Monitor and maintain adequate supplies of cleaning products and amenities.
  • Inspection: Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with hotel standards. Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department.
  • Guest Interaction: Provide friendly and courteous service to guests, responding promptly to any requests or concerns. Uphold the highest standards of hospitality and professionalism at all times.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other housekeeping team members and hotel staff to ensure efficient operation and guest satisfaction. Communicate effectively to coordinate tasks and prioritize workload.
  • Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Maintain a safe and hygienic work environment at all times.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred but not essential. Training will be provided.
  • Skills: Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Customer Focus: Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to interact courteously and professionally with guests and colleagues.
