Position Overview:
As a Storekeeper at Menuiserie Letsch SA, you will play a vital role in the smooth operation of our warehouse and inventory management system. You will be responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and products to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery to our clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments of materials and products, verifying their accuracy and quality.
- Safely store materials and products in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper organization and inventory control.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including regular stock counts and reconciliations.
- Prepare outgoing shipments for delivery to clients, ensuring orders are picked, packed, and labeled correctly.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as production and logistics, to fulfill orders and meet delivery deadlines.
- Monitor and report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages in inventory to the appropriate personnel.
- Uphold strict safety standards and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Assist in the implementation of process improvements to optimize warehouse operations and increase efficiency.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse, adhering to company policies and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or inventory management preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid forklift certification (preferred but not required).
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.
