Position Overview:
As a Pharmacist at Nasser Bin Khaled & Sons Trading Co. W.L.L, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional pharmaceutical care to our customers. Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, following all regulatory guidelines and best practices.
- Review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness, verifying dosage instructions and potential drug interactions.
- Counsel patients on the proper use of medications, including dosage, administration, and potential side effects.
- Provide information and guidance to customers on over-the-counter medications, vitamins, and supplements.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, such as physicians and nurses, to optimize medication therapy and patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medication histories and allergy information.
- Monitor medication inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure adequate stock.
- Stay informed about new developments in pharmacy practice, including drug therapies, regulations, and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
- Licensed Pharmacist in Qatar, with a valid practicing certificate.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working as a Pharmacist in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, dosage calculations, and pharmaceutical regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing and record-keeping.
- Proficiency in computer skills and pharmacy management software.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
