Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greeting customers warmly, taking their orders accurately, and providing helpful recommendations to enhance their dining experience. Ensuring customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
- Order Preparation: Preparing and serving food and beverages according to Wilshire Foods’ standards and recipes. Ensuring all orders are made to perfection and delivered in a timely manner.
- Cash Handling: Operating the cash register, processing payments, and providing correct change. Ensuring the accuracy of transactions and handling cash responsibly.
- Restaurant Cleanliness: Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including the dining area, kitchen, and restrooms. Following sanitation and safety guidelines to ensure a hygienic environment for customers and staff.
- Team Collaboration: Working collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work atmosphere. Assisting colleagues during busy periods and contributing to team goals.
- Stock Management: Assisting with inventory management by monitoring stock levels, replenishing supplies, and informing management of any shortages or discrepancies.
- Adherence to Standards: Following company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations, food handling standards, and uniform guidelines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a fast-food or customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
