Responsibilities:
- Operate passenger and freight trains on designated routes, adhering to schedules and safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trains, ensuring they are in safe operating condition.
- Monitor train operations and respond to any issues or emergencies in a timely manner.
- Communicate with dispatchers, signalers, and other train crew members to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide information and assistance to passengers as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe environment for passengers and crew.
- Maintain accurate records of train operations, including logs and reports.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay updated on industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid train driving license for operating trains in Luxembourg.
- Previous experience as a Train Driver or in a related role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of railway operations, safety regulations, and signaling systems.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Fluency in French or German is required; additional languages such as Luxembourgish or English are a plus.
