Position Overview:
As a Warehouse Assistant at Emerson, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse in the United Arab Emirates. Your primary responsibility will be to support the day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods. You will work closely with the warehouse team to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure that customer orders are fulfilled on time.

Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments of goods and materials.
- Store items in designated locations within the warehouse according to established procedures.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently for shipping.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts to ensure consistency.
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods from delivery vehicles.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to identify and implement process improvements.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in warehouse operations is a plus.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management software.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as required by the role.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, if needed.
