Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and assist them with their deli orders, ensuring a pleasant shopping experience.
- Product Preparation: Slice, cut, weigh, and package a variety of deli products, including meats, cheeses, and salads.
- Merchandising: Arrange and display deli products in an appealing manner, ensuring shelves and displays are fully stocked and attractively presented.
- Sanitation and Safety: Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, following all food safety regulations and guidelines.
- Inventory Management: Monitor product levels, conduct inventory checks, and inform the supervisor of any shortages or discrepancies.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with team members to achieve common goals and ensure smooth operation of the deli section.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a deli or similar food service environment is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
